 The tale of cocktail glasses is both grand and bold, like the drinks they cradle, stories unfold. From the 19th century, tumblers took their stand, for mixed drinks, they were simply planned. As cocktail culture grew, so did the glass, the martini's conical shape came to pass. In the 1920s, during Prohibition's plight, it enhanced the drink's aroma and sight. Highball glasses rose in the mid-century's cheer, for mixed drinks with ice, they held dear. Lowball glasses, Old Fashioned by name, since the 19th century, they've held their fame. Each glass, crafted with care and grace, complements cocktails in their rightful place, reflecting mixology's evolving face.
